Jono has spent almost ten years working professionally in film and TV, helping to create content for MTV, Channel V, Fuel TV, Fox Sports, Seven, Ten & ABC as an editor, camera operator, producer and director.  He has also gained valuable marketing skills making corporates and promos for some of Australia’s biggest brands and media organisations.

In 2008 Jono also completed a small post-grad course in directing and screenwriting at Australia’s leading film school, AFTRS.

What the hell does Conscious Flux mean?

The simple explanation is that we jammed two words together that we like.

As an afterthought we managed to piece together a more profound meaning. If there’s a ‘hippie’ bone in your body (like one or two of ours), check this out:

  • In traditional Chinese medicine, the meditation ’solid to liquid, liquid to gas’ is often used to help clear blockages in meridians.
This idea is also applicable to people trying to somehow raise their level of consciousness.
  • Flux is a substance used to lower the melting point of other substances (like metals when soldering).

In a way, Conscious Flux could be seen as something that lowers the melting point of consciousness, allowing it to become more fluid, less rigid and perhaps a small step closer to evolving into something better.

Or maybe we’re just full of it.
